What's for (Last Night's) Dinner?
(we actually ate in the garden…) Had a delicious dinner Bär-bo-ne last night. There were four of us, so we ordered asparagus fries, bresaola (my favorite!) & buffalo mozzarella to start. I also tried a taste of spaghetti with ramps that was quite nice. My dinner of cavatelli with chicken sausage & sage was lovely. The sausage was nicely browned, making the dish a whole lot better....

What's for (Last Night's) Dinner?
via Everyday Food This was easy to make, and taught me a valuable lesson - modify recipes! I’m a bit of baker at heart, so I tend to follow recipes closely. Last night, I didn’t and it paid off. I added chorizo, and switched the jalepeño for chipotle. Without these additions, I’m not sure if I’d make again. But this way, I’ll definitely have it again. Yum!

This past Saturday, I had dinner at Barmarche , and while not my first time eating there, I definitely enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it was a bit loud & our server had a mullet; but the food was great. Safety first, right? I don’t know about anyone else, but the FAA, NTSB & any airline I’ve ever been on, all seem to be run by a bunch of apathetic morons. I mean, really, in the wake a huge scandal, nitpicking over .25 inches is a bit ridiculous. It’s quite possible the least effective way to restore my confidence in the agency.
